Spicy Belly Pork

    • 1kg pork belly sliced, chopped into small pieces
    • 1litre hot chicken/veg stock
    • 20 grams of minced ginger
    • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp. caster sugar


    • Pinch of salt and pepper
    • 10 grams of minced ginger
    • 2 tbsp honey
    • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce


    1. Make the glaze. In a bowl add all your ingredients and set aside.

  1. In a pan add pork belly and fry until golden on both sides for 5-7 min. Then add sugar, ginger and garlic and fry for further 3 min. Add stock and simmer on low heat until the mixture reduces in half. Add the glaze to the pork belly mixture and cook for another 30 min until the pork looks dark and sticky. Remove from the heat and serve with asparagus and glaze all over. Enjoy
