Succulent Spicy Salmon

Serves 1
Cooking time: 15 mins.


A fillet of salmon, diced, skin left on,
2 spring onions, sliced thinly lengthways,
1.5 tsp @sunwahfoods X chilli oil with fried shallots and shrimp,
1 red chilli, de-seeded, sliced finely,
2 tsp sesame seeds.
For the marinade:
1.5 tbsp light soy sauce,
1 inch ginger, sliced finely,
2 cloves garlic, sliced finely.


In a bowl add the diced salmon, light soy sauce, ginger and garlic. Mix together.

Heat a frying pan and add the sesame seeds to the dry pan. Toast lightly then remove, set aside for later.

Add the sun wah foods ‘X fried shallot & shrimp chilli oil’ into the hot frying pan. Allow to sizzle and become fragrant then add in the marinated salmon pieces. Fry for a couple of minutes then add in the spring onions and red chilli.

Toss everything together in the wok and remove from the heat. Serve up and garnish with the toasted sesame seeds.

Perfect served on top of some wholemeal rice with some greens on the side.
